    • Characterized expression of equilibrative nucleoside transporters (ENTs) on human skin and bone marrow-derived mouse mast cells (BMMCs). Also investigated the role of Micro RNA 155 on BMMCs. Mentor: Dr. Greg Gomez.

    • Developed methodology that would impact younger generations through visual presentations of environmental issues. Also wrote a prospectus on the early involvement in the field environmental science to improve on the sustainability of communities most impacted by environmental injustices.
